She stared out to the open sea; her thoughts running wildly in her mind like wild horses. She sighed a sigh that was filled with depression.
To jump or not to jump? She questioned herself. A question she asked herself everyday without failed.
Jump.
A small voice in her head whispered. She wants to obey the voice yet her legs won't obey her.
Jump,
The voice whispered louder this time.
Tears trickled down her cheeks. I want to, I want to, I just can't! A sob was released from her mouth and the wind carried her voice with him, holding it tightly to himself; afraid to lose her all together.
He had hoped she won't jump, not in this life or the next. Stay strong, the wind tried to whisper to her, but he failed for the voice inside her is way louder and closer to her.
Don't! The wind shouted as she stuck out her right foot.
JUMP! The voice screamed.
Remember the past, don't forget it. Remember why you're standing here, remember why do you stand at the end of this cliff, remember you want to run away from the past; from everything. This is the only way, the only best solution you have!
No, it's not. The wind whispered, softly and gently in her ear which traveled to her mind. His voice is so gentle that it was able to calm her down; allowing her to think calmly.
The voice knew he is losing and he hates to lose, not to a stupid invisible being like the wind. He started to bring up the past, making her remember all the horrible things that happened to her; her father sexually abused her; her mother slapping her every time she is sober; her brother rapped her every time he feels like it. What else can she do aside from leaving this cruel world?
Catch her! Roared the wind to the ocean as she begun to jump.
CATCH HER!
But,
She hit the jagged rocks instead. The wind started to wept; bringing the rain with him to moan for the beautiful girl.
Somewhere, the voice fled to find another host. A host to spread it's negativeness, for that's how he is made to do; that's what he was meant to do.
He is everywhere.
If the voice passes by your head, don't let the him overcome you. Allow the wind to save you.
